Chennai Central Lok Sabha Constituency
Chennai Central constituency is constituency number 4 out of 39 in the state that consists of 6 assembly segments at present (2023). Chennai Central constituency is one of the smallest constituencies in Tamil Nadu.

Villivakkam –
Villivakkam assembly constitution is 14 and it includes Ward 55-58 and 63-64 of Greater Chennai Corporation. Mr. A.Vetriazhagan of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is elected representative of 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election.
Egmore –
Egmore assembly constitution is 16 and it includes Ward 42,45-47,61,71-72 and 100-106 of Greater Chennai Corporation. Mr. I. Paranthamen of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is elected representative of 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election.
Harbour –
Harbour assembly constitution is 18 and it includes Ward 23-30,43-44,48-49 and 80 of Greater Chennai Corporation. Mr. P. K. Sekar Babu of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is elected representative of 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election.
Chepauk –
Chepauk- Thiruvallikeni assembly constitution is 19 and it includes Ward 79,81-93,95 and 111 of Greater Chennai Corporation. Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is elected representative of 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election.
Thousand Lights –
Thousand Lights assembly constitution is 20 and it includes Ward 76-78,107-110,112-114,118 and 119 of Greater Chennai Corporation. Mr. Ezhilan Naganathan of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is elected representative of 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election.
Anna Nagar –
Anna Nagar assembly constitution is 21 and it includes Ward 100-103 and 105-107 of Greater Chennai Corporation. Mr. M. K. Mohan of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is elected representative of 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election.
Ministry of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR & CE)
Mr. P. K. Sekar Babu, the elected member of Harbour – Chennai Central Constituency, is the Minister of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR & CE) at present. The primary role of the HR & CE Minister involves managing affairs related to Hindu religious temples, Institutions and Charitable endowments in the state.
Member of Parliament (MP)
Dayanidhi Murasoli Maran is the elected Member of Parliament to Lok Sabha from Chennai Central Constituency. He is the son of ex-Minister Murasoli Maran and grandnephew of ex-Chief Minister and late. M. Karunanidhi.
