The Sahara Refund is a policy introduced by the Central Register of Cooperative Societies, which helps one to receive their hard earned dollar of approximately Rs.5000, which has been stuck for a substantial time period. This policy was introduced by the Union home minister Amit Shah, at Delhi and was officially launched on 18 july, 2023.
How to apply Sahara Refund
To apply the Sahara Refund policy, one must have the Membership number of Sahara policy, and the last 4 digits of their aadhar card number, and must have aadhar linked mobile number, and verify through OTP, hence the shareholders can successfully complete their registration. This policy is user friendly for the people whose investments are trapped.
To login and receive the refund amount, the investors must have a membership of the Sarah policy and should enter the last 4 digits of their aadhar card number and the 10 digits number linked with their mobile and aadhar card on the login site of the portal, while entering these numbers make sure that the portal is the official site, if its a scam site there are alot of consequences involved. After entering these click on ‘submit’ and go on with further process.
Then again enter the 4 and 10 digit number again in the Depositor login page of CRCS portal.
Click to get the six digit OTP number, do not share this code to anyone else! The OTP number is sent to the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP number in ‘verify OTP to enter’ to login. After entering the OTP a page will open displaying your personal information from the aadhar card. You can enter your E-mail id, then provide the details for deposition and details of certificate of deposit. It is necessary to fill in the details without mistakes as mistakes can’t be rectified in the future, attach a photograph as proof, in 45 days from registration money would be refunded.
Documents required for Sahara Refund Policy
The required documents for the policy are:
- Membership of Sahara policy
- Deposit account number
- Adhar card number
- Aadhar card link phone number
- Deposit holder’s passbook
- PAN card (if the refund amount is more than Rs.50,000)
- If any other documents are required from the government, it must be attached with the needed documents.
- Attach the photograph of the depositor for proof.
