SSA Gujarat – A Detailed Guide
SSA Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan is a flagship program by the Government of India for the universalization of Elementary Education. This is achieved in a time-bound manner that is made mandatory by amendment 86 to the constitution of India enabling free education to children of age 6-14 as a fundamental right. It commenced under the Prime Ministership of Atal Behari Vajpayee in 2001.
