Law of the Jungle
The documentary-reality show Law of the Jungle ran for ten years and has been a long-time favorite of many viewers. The show was created by comedian Kim Byung-man to travel to some of the remotest locations in the world and experience the wilderness. In the episodes of the show, the comedian’s several friends, including K-pop idols and actors, joined him in the adventure and confronted what it is like to survive in the jungle. The cast had to learn many survival skills, like hunting, sourcing meals, creating shelter, and so on. The show concluded in 2021 but it is still watched and loved by many fans all over the world.
Busted
Busted is the first thriller mystery variety show from Netflix that combines the genres of comedy, thrill, and mystery. In the show, several Korean celebrities pose as sleuths who are part of a secret operation, named Project D, led by a mysterious man named “K”. The contestants are implanted with a DNA chip of famous detectives from history which gives them the strength and mind to work as private investigators. In the episodes, they are handed out a new case that needs to be solved. The show includes scripted as well as unscripted parts and casts many renowned names over three seasons, like Park Min-young, Lee Seung-gi, Yoo Jae-suk, and others.
BTS – Bon Voyage
BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is the most popular boy band in South Korea. Aside from their world-popular songs and handsome members, they have also captured the hearts of their fans through the reality show BTS: Bon Voyage. The show follows the band as the members travel around the world and gives a sneak peek into their daily lives like boys playing games and hanging out together.
